5 BUDAYA INDONESIA YANG MENDUNIA

 

Sebagai warga negara Indonesia, kita patut berbangga bahwa 5 warisan budaya Indonesia turut menjadi kebanggaan dunia. Apa saja budaya tersebut dan apa yang membuatnya menjadi kebanggan dunia? Simak ulasannya berikut ini: 

 

1. Wayang

 

Wayang diakui oleh UNESCO sebagai warisan budaya bangsa Indonesia pada tahun 2003. Wayang sebagai “Karya Agung Budaya Dunia” yang diakui oleh UNESCO bukan hanya wayang Jawa tapi wayang Indonesia, termasuk wayang Bali, wayang golek Sunda, wayang Lombok, dll. Cerita-cerita yang dimainkan berkisah tentang dewa-dewi, persilatan, percintaan dan kepahlawanan yang pertunjukkannya selalu diiringi dengan musik gamelan. Sang dalang dalam pertunjukan wayang sangat pandai membawa suasana emosi penonton mulai dari serunya peperangan sampai cerita lucu yang dibawakan sang dalang sampai membuat penonton tertawa. Tahun 1950-1960an adalah puncak kejayaan wayang yang diakui para peneliti Barat, sebagai seni pertunjukan terindah di dunia.

 

 

2. Keris

 

UNESCO menyatakan Keris sebagai “Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity” pada tanggal 25 November 2005. Keris merupakan senjata tradisional Indonesia yang diyakini mengandung kekuatan supranatural. Raja-raja di nusantara menjadikan keris menjadi senjata pusaka. Keris telah digunakan sejak abad ke-9 dibuat dengan logam dan gagangnya dibuat dari tulang, tanduk atau kayu. Keris dibuat dari logam yang berkualitas. Keris Kuno bahkan logamnya berasal dari meteor yang jatuh ke bumi. Para Peneliti menyebut bahwa keris kuno mengandung unsur logam titanium suatu bahan yang baru pada abad 20 digunakan sebagai bahan pelapis kendaraan angkasa luar, tapi ternyata para Mpu pembuat keris telah menemukannya terlebih dahulu sebagai bahan pembuat keris.

 

 

3. Batik

Batik Indonesia sebagai Warisan Budaya Dunia (World Heritage). Batik dihasilkan dengan proses penulisan gambar atau ragam hias pada media apapun dengan menggunakan lilin panas dengan menggunakan canting. Batik biasanya digambar pada kain katun dan sutra. Kesenian batik telah dikenal sejak zaman kerajaan Majapahit dan terus berkembang kepada kerajaan dan raja-raja berikutnya. Menurut Prof. Yohanes Surya, PhD, ahli fisika Indonesia, Batik adalah lukisan tentang alam dan dinamikanya. Berbeda dengan para pelukis naturalis yang melukis alam persis seperti apa yang dilihatnya, para pencipta batik melukis alam dari sisi yang lebih dalam. Pencipta batik mencari pola dasar dari suatu fenomena yang dilihatnya itu. Dari pola dasar ini ditambah dengan beberapa aturan sederhana, pencipta batik dapat menghasilkan lukisan batik. Butuh suatu kejeniusan untuk melihat pola dasar dan mencari aturan ini.

 

 

4. Angklung

 

Angklung adalah alat musik multitonal (bernada ganda) yang secara tradisional berkembang dalam masyarakat berbahasa Sunda di Pulau Jawa bagian barat. Alat musik ini dibuat dari bambu, dibunyikan dengan cara digoyangkan (bunyi disebabkan oleh benturan badan pipa bambu) sehingga menghasilkan bunyi yang bergetar dalam susunan nada 2, 3, sampai 4 nada dalam setiap ukuran, baik besar maupun kecil. Laras (nada) alat musik angklung sebagai musik tradisi Sunda kebanyakan adalah salendro dan pelog. Angklung terdaftar sebagai Karya Agung Warisan Budaya Lisan dan Nonbendawi Manusia dari UNESCO sejak November 2010.

 

5. Tari Saman

 

Tari Saman adalah sebuah tarian suku Gayo yang biasa ditampilkan untuk merayakan peristiwa-peristiwa penting dalam adat. Syair dalam tarian Saman mempergunakan bahasa Arab dan bahasa Gayo. Dalam beberapa literatur menyebutkan tari Saman di Aceh didirikan dan dikembangkan oleh Syekh Saman, seorang ulama yang berasal dari Gayo di Aceh Tenggara. Tarian saman termasuk salah satu tarian yang cukup unik,kerena hanya menampilkan gerak tepuk tangan gerakan-gerakan lainnya, seperti gerak guncang, kirep, lingang, surang-saring (semua gerak ini adalah bahasa Gayo) Tari Saman dari Gayo Lues dan sekitarnya di Provinsi Aceh resmi diakui dan masuk dalam daftar warisan budaya tak benda yang memerlukan perlindungan mendesak UNESCO, pada Sidang akbar tahunan yang dihadiri lebih dari 500 anggota delegasi dari 69 negara, LSM internasional, pakar budaya dan media di Bali pada 22 sampai 29 November 2011 lalu.
